" Garuda Wisnu Kencana " or GWK for short is a cultural park on Tanjung Nusa Dua. if you're heading to Uluwatu then you will pass through this place. In GWK you will find this statue of vishnu.
Actually there are another statue, the one that should be the symbols of Bali, the statue of vishnu riding a garuda. This statue is should be 75 meters when it finished. But now it is still under construction. Well, with that height then it should be equal or more to the famous Liberty statue. Off course when it is finished. But now, there is only the " garuda " part that semi-finished. No actual information about when it will finish. We just have to wait for that. As for now, let's just enjoy the big statue of vishnu and half constructed garuda.
Is that the only they have to offer ? Actually no. There are also souvenir shops inside the cultural park. And as it is located on the high part of the land, then you can see the view of Denpasar and around from the height. The view will be so beautiful especially at night.
